Role Overview::
We are seeking a motivated Cloud & System Administrator with foundational experience in cloud technologies and operating systems such as Unix and Windows. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player capable of supporting cloud infrastructure operations while ensuring system stability, performance, and security.
This role involves hands-on administration of cloud environments, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting automation initiatives to improve infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities::
Cloud Infrastructure Administration
- Operate and administer cloud infrastructure by applying technical expertise and customer-focused insights.
- Ensure infrastructure configurations meet required standards for performance, security, and scalability.
- Monitor cloud environments and support operational stability across systems and applications.
System Administration
- Provide system administration support for Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, system updates, and configuration management.
- Assist in troubleshooting system and infrastructure issues and provide timely resolution.
Automation & Infrastructure as Code
- Implement or support infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Contribute to developing automated deployment and configuration management practices.
- Maintain documentation for automated scripts and infrastructure configurations.
Incident & Problem Management
- Investigate and resolve technical issues while maintaining proper documentation and following defined SLAs.
- Provide root cause analysis and implement improvements to prevent recurring incidents.
Continuous Learning & Collaboration
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, market trends, and best practices in cloud and operating systems.
- Maintain relevant technical certifications and actively share knowledge within the technical community.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure and application requirements.
Required Qualifications::
- Experience or exposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or similar environments.
- Basic system administration experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Understanding of infrastructure configuration, monitoring, and system security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred / Advantageous Skills
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation-first deployment approaches.
- Exposure to scripting and configuration management practices.
- Familiarity with documentation and operational best practices for infrastructure management.
