Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate cloud infrastructure environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
- Execute cloud implementation projects, including deployments, configurations, and pilot engagements based on design specifications.
- Ensure all cloud configurations meet standards for scalability, reliability, maintainability, and security.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation-first approaches using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Support and participate in cloud migration projects (VMs and databases) using tools like CloudEndure and Azure Migrate.
- Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents within defined SLAs, ensuring proper documentation and root cause analysis.
- Engage with clients in operational meetings, provide updates, and recommend improvements to optimize cloud environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions and continuously improve processes and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, including configurations, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay updated with cloud technologies, certifications, and industry trends actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in cloud operations, cloud engineering, or infrastructure delivery roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (experience with Azure or GCP is a plus).
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Exposure to cloud migration projects involving VMs and/or databases experience handling mid-to-large scale migrations (20+ VMs) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements (experience in GCC environments is a plus).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet SLA-driven targets.
- Good understanding of networking concepts such as VPCs, subnets, routing, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Administrator) are preferred.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
