Role Description

Design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across single or multiple cloud platforms
Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
Deploy and maintain applications and services on AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid environments
Optimize cloud performance, cost efficiency, scalability, and reliability
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
Manage cloud security, identity access management (IAM), and compliance requirements
Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and security teams to support CI/CD pipelines
Monitor cloud systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
Lead cloud migration projects from on-premise to cloud environments
Evaluate and integrate new cloud technologies and services
Design disaster recovery (DR), backup, and business continuity strategies

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5–12+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or architecture roles
Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), multi-cloud experience preferred
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, and distributed systems
Experience with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and IAM policies
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.)
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and system design skills
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Architect are highly valued
