About Us

Woodlands Hospital is a next-generation healthcare system in Singapore, designed from the ground up to meet the future of care. As a new integrated acute and community hospital with specialist outpatient services and innovative care models, we go beyond traditional hospital walls to deliver personcentred, connected, and seamless care. Our mission is to redefine healthcare for a rapidly aging and diverse population through digital innovation, preventive health, and strong partnerships with the community. With a deep commitment to teambased care, sustainability, and health equity, Woodlands Health is not just about treating illness - we are building a healthier future for all.

Why This Role Matters

We are looking for a skilled and forwardthinking Clinical Operations Manager who is ready to shape the future of clinical service delivery. As healthcare becomes increasingly complex, with evolving patient needs, workforce challenges, and new care models, this role is central to ensuring that operations remain resilient, efficient, and patientcentred.

This is not just an operational role-it is a strategic opportunity to strengthen endtoend clinical operations, enhance system integration, and drive continuous improvement across services. As Woodlands Hospital scales into a nextgeneration, digitally enabled healthcare environment, we need someone who thrives in dynamic settings, brings clarity to complexity, and contributes meaningfully to how care is delivered across our campus.

If you are energised by problemsolving, passionate about operational excellence, and committed to supporting clinicians in delivering safe, highquality care, this role is for you.

What You Will Drive

  • Oversee and streamline daily clinic operations to ensure optimal resource utilisation, smooth workflows, and timely service delivery.
  • Monitor operational performance, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions to minimise disruptions.
  • Support operational readiness for new services, care models, and clinical programmes.

2. Enable New Care Models & Service Development

  • Work closely with Clinical HODs and key stakeholders as part of a multidisciplinary team to plan, develop, and operationalise new clinical services.
  • Coordinate operational processes for service rollouts, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy.
  • Evaluate service demand, resource needs, and workflow impact to support longterm planning.

3. Drive Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Lead improvement initiatives to enhance systems, processes, patient flow, and overall workflow efficiency.
  • Champion innovation, digital adoption, and bestpractice operations that strengthen care delivery.
  • Track key performance indicators and propose datadriven improvements.

4. Lead People & Build Capabilities

  • Manage and mentor operations staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Deploy manpower effectively to support operational, educational, and service needs.
  • Facilitate training and capabilitybuilding to uplift team competencies.

5. Strengthen Partnerships & CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Work with various departments-including nursing, medical, administrative, and support services-to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate strong communication and alignment across clinical and nonclinical functions.
  • Support effective stakeholder engagement to resolve operational challenges and improve patient experience.

6. Other Responsibilities

  • Carry out any additional duties assigned by supervisors in support of service and organisational goals.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, Allied Health, or equivalent).
  • Experience in clinical or healthcare operations, preferably within a hospital or large healthcare setting.
  • Experience in setting up Breast Surgery, Digestive Health, and Geriatric Surgical Centers and with business development experience would be an advantage, but it is not mandatory.
  • Proven track record in operations management, workflow improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in planning, implementing, or supporting new clinical services or care models is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and organisational skills.

Professional Skills & Attributes

  • A proactive leader with strong supervisory capabilities and the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging multidisciplinary stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player who contributes to a supportive and highperforming work environment.
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and patientcentred care.
  • Resilient, calm under pressure, and solutionsoriented in fastpaced environments.

Why This Role
