Working schedule: Monday to Friday, Office Hours

This role provides specialized technical and operational support for laboratory information systems, with a strong focus on pathology informatics and data-driven optimisation. You will lead informatics initiatives, support system operations, and apply advanced analytics to improve laboratory efficiency and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead pathology informatics initiatives, including dataanalytics, predictive modelling, and optimization of data structures to enhancelaboratory operations.
• Review existing laboratory information system (LIS)functionalities and propose improvements to support operational and clinicalneeds.
• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot LIS applications toensure system reliability and performance.
• Manage system change and service requests, includingrequirements review, impact analysis, coordination, testing, andimplementation.
• Support laboratory accreditation and regulatory compliancerequirements related to information systems.
• Assist with system administration, access control, andcompliance activities.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma or Degree in biomedical science, information technology or related fields

• Min. 2-5 years supporting or administering Laboratory Information Systems (LIS),including troubleshooting and user support.
• Good understanding of laboratory operations, workflows, and processes.
• Prior clinical laboratory or pathology-related experience is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of data analysis concepts and local area network (LAN) environments.
• Proficiency in basic PC setup/troubleshooting.
• Programming or scripting experience (e.g. Python, Visual Basic, database tools such asAccess) is an advantage.
