Clinical Associates are foreign-trained doctors who are granted temporary medical registration to work in specific departments in the Hospital. They perform duties equivalent to that of a medical officer/junior resident level. He/She will be responsible for the total management of patients in the ward, assist in running outpatient clinics and or assist in the operating theatre, if applicable.
Requirement:
- Candidates must be in active clinical practice
- Possess basic Medical Degree from a medical university/ school accredited in the state in which it was awarded
- Passed the relevant national licensing examination in the country of conferment of basic degree, where applicable
- Have at least 3 to 6 years post-housemanship working experience as a Medical Officer in a relevant specialty. Those who have completed residency training in a relevant discipline and possessed relevant postgraduate qualifications such as MRCP, MRCS, MRCEM, FRCR, FRCS, FRCEM, FRCOphth, FRCA or partial of those will have an added advantage.
- Be a good team player and has a good command of spoken & written English and must be able to do on-call
Requirement for Resident Physician/Staff Registrar/Staff Physician post:
- Must have basic medical degree from Universities that is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
[NEW] Candidates holding MD from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) are welcome to apply for the Resident Physician role
- OR postgrad medical qualification such as MRCP, FRCR, FRCS, FRCEM, FRCOphth, FRCA etc that is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
Benefits of a Clinical Associate (Medical Officer):
- 2 years non-renewable contract
- Basic salary of SGD$4,500 to $5,000/month (depends on the number of years of experience and the qualifications)
- SGD$1,000 Housing Allowance/month
- AWS
- Gratuity Bonus of 2 months upon completing the 2 years contract
- 4-6 on-calls per month, on-call allowance are given on top of the salary
- 24 days Annual Leave
- 14 days Sick leave
- 11 days Public Holidays
- Medical Malpractice Insurance (will be reimbursed)
Benefits of a Resident Physician:
- 2-3 years renewable contract
- Basic salary of SGD$6,500 to $7,500/month depends on the number of years of experience and the qualifications
- SGD$1,500 Housing Allowance/month
- AWS & Performance Bonus
- 4-6 on-calls per month, on-call allowance are given on top of the salary
- 24 days Annual Leave
- 14 days Sick leave
- 11 days Public Holidays
- Medical Malpractice Insurance (will be reimbursed)
