Job Summary
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a GP Clinic to ensure optimal functioning and maintain high service and clinical standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of the GP Clinic to deliver seamless service and ensure clinical compliance
- Update patient medical records accurately to support clinical care and documentation
- Consolidate daily billings and invoices to maintain financial accuracy and accountability
- Register patients and schedule appointments efficiently to optimize clinic workflow
- Dispense medications and consumables following clinic protocols to ensure patient safety
- Conduct monthly stock takes of drugs and consumables to maintain adequate inventory levels and prevent shortages
- Assist doctors during treatment and medical examinations to facilitate effective patient care
- Develop and implement action plans that enhance service quality and uphold clinical standards within the clinic
- Identify operational inefficiencies and lead process improvement projects to elevate service quality and patient experience
- Investigate and resolve patient complaints promptly to maintain high patient satisfaction
- Prepare and analyze clinic performance data to support informed operational planning and decision-making
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support clinic objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a clinic environment, preferably in a managerial role
- Demonstrated leadership skills to manage clinic staff and operations effectively
- Customer service orientation with knowledge of basic business management processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff
- Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with Chinese-speaking patients
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required to support clinic operations
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
