Job Summary
Register patients for consultations and assist with scheduling appointments.
Prepare and dispense medications while advising patients on payment options.
Handle phone and walk-in queries professionally and with care.
Support doctors by assisting with simple procedures such as taking vitals, performing tests, and preparing lab materials.
Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
Collaborate with the Clinic Manager and doctors to complete additional duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Register patients accurately and manage appointment scheduling to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Prepare and dispense medications following prescribed instructions and advise patients on payment options
- Respond to phone and walk-in patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy to provide excellent customer service
- Monitor medication and supply levels by topping up, packing, and ordering as needed to maintain clinic readiness
- Assist doctors during simple medical procedures by taking vital signs, performing tests, setting up equipment, chaperoning, preparing lab tubes/forms, and conducting urine tests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment to support a safe and efficient workspace
- Support Clinic Manager and doctors by performing additional duties as required to ensure effective clinic functioning
- Adapt quickly to cover shifts on short notice to maintain consistent clinic service
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum GCE O/ A Levels or Diploma holders
- Experience in healthcare or clinic support roles willingness to undergo further training
- Comfortable using computers and the Internet to support clinic administrative tasks
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills demonstrated through patient interactions
- Demonstrate a humble, hardworking, and responsible attitude in daily work
