Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service & Patient Care:
- Attend to patient enquiries (phone, email, walk-in) in line with OHM service standards.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using PLATO clinic system.
- Provide accurate information on scan procedures, costs, and safety requirements.
- Guide patients through check-in, triage, consent, and preparation for MRI/diagnostic scans.
- Support patient comfort: chaperoning, refreshments, concierge assistance (transport/directions/foreign patients).
- Handle patient feedback and concerns professionally.
2. Administrative & Financial Duties:
- Process bookings, billing, and Medisave/insurance claims accurately.
- Conduct financial counselling and secure consents before scans.
- Handle cash, credit card, and e-payments reconcile daily transactions.
- Track and close outstanding/unpaid invoices.
- File patient records, billing documents, and insurance claims for compliance/audit.
- Dispatch reports, films, and CDs to clinics and doctors accurately and on time.
3. Operational & Compliance Support:
- Ensure patient screening, consent, and evaluation forms are completed and filed correctly.
- Assist with MOH/HCSA inspections and maintain regulatory audit readiness.
- Support stock and consumables management (MRI supplies, stationery).
- Adhere to infection control and PDPA confidentiality protocols.
4. Housekeeping & Facility Upkeep:
- Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming patient areas and gowning rooms.
- Oversee laundry rotation, daily cleaning, and safe disposal of sharps and contrast materials.
5. Support to Sales & Operations Teams:
- Compile operational statistics for management reporting.
- Assist sales/marketing teams with enquiries and follow-ups.
- Gather patient feedback to support service improvements.
- Participate in staff welfare and team-building activities.
Requirements
Education & Certification:
- Minimum GCE O-Level / N-Level or equivalent.
- Diploma or certification in Nursing, Healthcare Support, or similar is an advantage.
- Candidates without formal qualifications but with relevant healthcare admin experience will be considered.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of clinic administration, diagnostic imaging, or healthcare ops preferred.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in healthcare are welcome.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in PLATO and Microsoft Office.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of Medisave and insurance billing is an advantage.
