Job Description

Our client is a top-tier US Investment Manager, and they are seeking a dedicated Client Relationship Manager to join the dynamic team in Singapore. In this role, you will be the central link between clients and internal teams, ensuring a seamless and exceptional client experience. You will focus on servicing institutional and intermediary clients across key Asian markets, working closely with investment and sales teams to manage every stage of the client journey. This is a front-line opportunity to gain deep exposure to a full range of investment products and business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of client relationships, from onboarding and due diligence meetings to portfolio reviews and daily queries.
  • Act as the primary coordinator for client matters, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across various internal departments.
  • Lead and project-manage client events, including account openings, transitions, and closures.
  • Facilitate AML/KYC reviews and ensure all client interactions comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle client-facing projects and regulatory changes, including assessing client impact and managing communications.
  • Help drive and implement global best practices within the client service organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in client relationship management within investment management or a related financial services firm.
  • Experience dealing with both Institutional and Intermediary clients.
  • Strong knowledge of various asset classes and investment vehicles.
  • A clear understanding of the regulatory environment and how it applies to client relationships.
  • Must be MAS-licensed or possess the necessary qualifications (e.g., CACS Papers) to deal in investments in Singapore.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin (both traditional and simplified) to service clients in the region.
  • Proven ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
