Client Onboarding & KYC Automation Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct corporate due diligence, including document verification, ownership analysis, screening, profiling, and risk assessment pertaining to client account opening
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve onboarding issues
• Identify manual processes and support automation, digitalisation, and workflow improvements
• Develop and maintain simple automation tools, data-validation scripts, and reports using Python, SQL, and Excel
• Work with structured data, including CSV, Excel, JSON, and database records
• Support API integrations, system testing, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate records in line with internal policies, procedures, service standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate Python programming skills, preferably with experience in data manipulation or process automation
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data cleaning, reconciliation, lookup functions, pivot tables, and reporting
• Familiarity with AML/KYC screening, enhanced due diligence, sanctions screening beneficial ownership, or client risk-rating processes
• Experience supporting process re-engineering, digitalisation, straight-through processing, or robotic process automation initiatives
• Prior experience in brokerage, capital markets, digital assets, or other regulated financial-services environments
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin, including written Chinese
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, or a related discipline
