ROLE
The Client Development Manager is responsible for elevating the in-store client experience by cultivating strong relationships with VICs (Very Important Clients), recruiting new clients, and coaching store teams in delivering exceptional luxury service. The role supports the achievement of Elite Client business objectives across key retail locations in Southeast Asia.
MISSION
Client Relationship Management
. Develop and implement sales plans and strategies tailored to elite clients across Southeast Asia.
. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by expanding networks and strengthening client engagement.
. Partner with CRM teams to align client strategies and maintain data accuracy across stores.
. Lead clienteling actions in-store, ensuring excellence and alignment with the brand's standards.
. Build and retain relationships with VICs to drive Elite Client revenue targets.
. Provide bespoke services including private appointments, personalized gifting, home delivery, and special orders.
. Expand client base through networking with HNWIs, local influencers, and strategic partnerships.
. Deliver elevated and customized experiences to increase loyalty and repeat purchases.
Client Strategy & CRM Execution
. Define and lead annual client development action plans aligned with regional goals.
. Utilize CRM tools and segmentation insights to track performance, client engagement, and ROI.
. Coordinate and execute high-touch events and activations aligned with local market potential.
. Deliver regular clienteling briefings and contribute to strategic reviews with Store Directors.
Mentoring & Coaching
. Inspire and coach store teams to foster a client-first culture.
. Deliver consistent clienteling and luxury service training to new joiners and existing staff.
. Guide store teams in creating personalized client outreach and engagement strategies.
. Collaborate with Elite Client Specialists to enhance cross-selling and category performance.
. Provide ongoing feedback and share client insights to elevate service and drive results.
Operational & Cross-Functional Support
. Partner with regional CRM, Retail, and Marketing teams to deploy client engagement tools.
. Ensure CRM database accuracy and effective use of segmentation and targeting.
. Review KPIs and support Store Directors in crafting and executing clienteling targets.
. Track client development trends and share best practices across the region.
. Participate in-store events and activations to support client interaction and relationship building.
. Leverage local market knowledge to identify new initiatives and partnerships.
Personal Development & Safety
. Continuously participate in training (product knowledge, systems, clienteling).
. Adhere to company health, safety, and compliance policies across all regional locations.
