Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure & Database

- Manage and maintain Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), including provisioning, patching, scaling, and performance monitoring.

- Administer Azure SQL environments, including performance tuning, backups, high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR), and security hardening.

• Networking

- Design, implement, and manage Azure networking components:

o Virtual Networks (VNets) and VNet peering

o Site-to-site and point-to-site VPNs

o Private Endpoints and Private Link

• Cloud Security

- Design and implement cloud security architecture, controls, and best practices.

- Manage IAM, privileged access, and enforce least-privilege principles.

- Secure cloud environments (networks, workloads, containers, and configurations).

- Implement and manage security tools (SIEM, CSPM, CWPP, secrets management).

- Monitor threats, vulnerabilities, and support incident response activities.

- Define and enforce security policies, baselines, and hardening standards.

- Conduct security assessments, risk reviews, and compliance checks.

• Cloudflare & Edge Services

- Manage and maintain Cloudflare services (DNS, WAF, CDN, Zero Trust, SSL/TLS, access controls).

• Operations & Reliability

- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across Azure and edge environments.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and connectivity issues.

- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.

• Testing, DR & Optimization

- Support penetration testing (PenTest) and remediate findings.

- Execute BCP/DR exercises, including drills and RTO/RPO improvements.

• Documentation & Collaboration

- Maintain accurate documentation of architecture, configurations, and procedures.

- Collaborate with application teams to support deployments, migrations, and incident response.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, or cloud security roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure SQL, networking, storage)
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking: VNets, peering, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, Private Link.
• Experience with IAM, RBAC, and cloud security best practices (least privilege, hardening).
• Familiarity with security tools: SIEM, CSPM, CWPP, vulnerability management.
• Experience with HA/DR, backup strategies, and production support environments.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with Cloudflare or similar CDN/WAF/Zero Trust platforms.
• Understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001)
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Security Engineer / Solutions Architect.

Salary Range: S$4,000 - S$5,000 (Salary range subjected to candidate qualification & job experiences)
