Job Description

Job Summary

Experience front-office financial advisory through shadowing client appointments, running simulations, and using CRM tools. Build foundational wealth management skills and receive mentorship and a sponsored professional qualification exam in a two-week program for penultimate and final-year students.

Responsibilities

  • Observe live client appointments with practicing advisors to understand real advisory conversations and decision-making processes
  • Conduct client simulations to practice advisory conversations in a structured, supportive environment
  • Develop foundational skills in wealth accumulation, fund selection, and budgeting frameworks applied with clients
  • Utilize CRM and pipeline management tools to support client-facing activities and track progress
  • Complete personality and career-goals assessments (Enneagram/DISC) to evaluate personal fit for advisory roles
  • Engage in one-on-one mentorship sessions with advisors from diverse industry backgrounds
  • Prepare for and complete a sponsored professional qualification exam as a step toward certification

Why this works if you're undecided:

  • Low-stakes : Two weeks to find out if client-facing work suits you, with a credential to show for it either way
  • Direct exposure to how an advisory business is actually built, not just the theory

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum Local Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum date of birth: March 2005 (to meet program eligibility)
  • Candidates must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future

Other Information

  • Allowance and exam sponsorship are subject to Terms & Conditions
