JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Client Advisor is responsible for managing and growing client relationships by providing tailored financial solutions. The role involves acquiring and maintaining a portfolio of clients, identifying business opportunities, and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to business development. This role reports to the Head of EAM.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Drive profitable growth by acquiring, developing and servicing long-term relationships with clients
- Accountable for the performance of individual&aposs own client book
- Generate healthy pipeline of target market prospects and convert them into clients
- Deliver, monitor and review solutions to clients based on client investment profile
- Collaborate with support functions, business partners, and product specialists to provide effective client solutions
- Understand the risk and control environment within area of responsibility and drive rectification as required
- Handle customer issues, complaints, and product enquiries on timely basis in accordance with established procedures
- Meet revenue targets and other quantitative targets like yield, AUMs, account growth and fee income ratio
- Provide investment advice to clients & fully responsible for clients under management
- Maintain regular contact with clients including sales, visits, offer services and products and understand the client&aposs background and source of wealth
- Ensure compliance with companys and regulatory requirements
- Ensure audit trail and maintain records for all client communication & comply with documentation requirements
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- University graduate, ideally in Bachelors in Business/Finance
- Circa 8 years of work experience as Client Advisor/Relationship Manager in Financial Services industry (Private Banking, Premier Banking etc.).
- Proven sales track record of direct selling experience in private banking business
- Sound product knowledge relating to investment products
- Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to listen and understand client&aposs requirements
- Team player and ability to work together to acquire clients
