Job Description

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be managing a portfolio of clients and providing advisory services to help them achieve their financial goals. You will be responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies, conducting market research, and monitoring client portfolios to ensure optimal performance. Your work will involve building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering personalized solutions to meet those needs. This position requires a deep understanding of financial markets, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of high net worth individuals and families, providing comprehensive wealth management services.
  • Develop and implement customized investment strategies based on each client's unique financial objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizon.
  • Conduct thorough financial planning analysis, including retirement, estate, tax, insurance, and other relevant areas.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth and diversification within client portfolios.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients by offering timely advice, clear guidance, and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with UOB partners such as private bankers, relationship managers, trust specialists, and investment specialists to provide holistic solutions to clients.
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes and industry developments in order to provide the best possible advice to clients.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in wealth management, preferably at a reputable private bank or investment firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, including equities, fixed income instruments, alternatives, and derivatives.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity, with a proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to think creatively and propose innovative investment ideas.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling software and database management tools.
  • Knowledge of estate planning and trust administration processes.
