Job Description

Cleaning Operations Management

  • Supervise daily cleaning operations across all four (4) office levels to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
  • Plan and deploy cleaning manpower according to cleaning schedules and operational requirements.
  • Ensure proper cleaning of offices, pantries, washrooms, corridors, and common areas.

Quality Control & Inspection


  • Monitor cleaning standards and overall service quality of the cleaning team.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and spot checks to ensure cleaning works are carried out properly.
  • Ensure cleaners follow proper cleaning methods, procedures, and service standards.

Equipment & Chemical Management


  • Ensure the proper use of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and consumables and report replenishment needs.

Customer Service & Issue Resolution


  • Handle cleaning-related feedback, complaints, or service requests from building occupants or management.
  • Ensure prompt rectification of cleaning issues raised by stakeholders.

Safety & Compliance


  • Ensure cleaning staff comply with workplace safety procedures, hygiene practices, and site regulations.
  • Conduct safety briefings and ensure proper use of PPE and safe cleaning practices.

Documentation & Reporting


  • Maintain proper cleaning records, inspection checklists, and attendance records of cleaning staff.
  • Report operational issues or manpower matters to the Facilities Manager or Operations Supervisor.

Qualifications


  • Minimum Secondary education or equivalent.
  • Relevant WSQ Environmental Cleaning training preferred.

Experience


  • Preferably >3 years of experience in cleaning operations or housekeeping supervision, preferably in office or commercial facilities.

Skills & Competencies


  • Ability to supervise and manage cleaning staff effectively.
  • Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Responsible and service-oriented attitude.
