Dry Cleaning Supervisor
A manages laundry plant staff, oversees daily production, ensures high-quality garment finishing, and maintains equipment safety .They are responsible for scheduling, training, managing inventory of cleaning supplies, and resolving customer issues. Key roles include enforcing safety protocols, increasing efficiency, and meeting & targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Production & Operations: Oversee laundry and dry cleaning operations, including washing, drying, and ironing/finishing, ensuring daily production targets are met.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Inspect finished garments for quality, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train cleaning staff, assign daily tasks, and create work schedules.
- Maintenance: Monitor the maintenance and repair of dry cleaning machinery, washers, and dryers.
- Customer Service: Address client complaints, feedback, and special requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inventory & Reporting: Monitor cleaning material stock levels, re-order supplies, and submit daily production reports
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in dry cleaning or laundry operations (often 1+ years).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of fabrics, stain removal, and chemical safety protocols.
- Leadership: Strong team management, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve operational issues and manage time efficiently.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and work with industrial laundry chemicals.
