Job Overview

The Clinic Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment within the clinic premises. The role ensures that all patient areas, consultation rooms, and staff facilities are kept in accordance with the clinic's hygiene standards and infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cleaning and Housekeeping

• Clean and disinfect consultation rooms, ultrasound rooms, treatment areas, and common areas.

• Clean reception area, waiting areas, and patient restrooms regularly.

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the clinic.

• Wipe and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, counters, chairs, and switches.

• Ensure bins are emptied regularly and waste is disposed of properly.

2. Infection Control

• Follow the clinic's infection control and hygiene protocols.

• Use cleaning chemicals and disinfectants appropriately.

• Ensure proper segregation and disposal of general waste and clinical waste as instructed.

3. Stock and Supplies

• Monitor cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.

• Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are stored properly after use.

4. General Duties

• Assist with general housekeeping duties as assigned by the clinic management.

• Maintain cleanliness of staff pantry and common areas.

• Report any maintenance issues (e.g. leaking taps, faulty lights) to the clinic management promptly.

Requirements

- Female preferred.
- Assist in two clinics located in the same building.
- Prior cleaning experience in clinics, hospitals, or commercial premises is preferred.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Able to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality within the clinic environment.
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties.

Working Hours

Working hours will be according to the clinic's operational schedule.
