We are looking for a cleaner to join our support team to help give children the best start in life.
Job Description:-
1. Keep the school clean at all times
- Clean, sweep, mop of office, centre common areas, classroom and toilets
- Clean cubbies, storage area and wash main door entrance and floor mat
- Clean and disinfect tables, chairs, etc regularly
- Clean windows, glass doors, fans, shoe racks and electric furniture
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, hand towels, and cleaning materials.
- Dispose of rubbish and ensure bins are cleared and sanitized daily
- Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations as stipulated by ECDA/NEA guidelines.
2. Help in the kitchen including daily activities such as
- Bringing food to the classrooms for all meals
- Wash children's utensils after snacks
3. Carry out any other ad-hoc cleaning or duties assigned by the Centre Principal.
Job Requirement:-
- Prior experience as a cleaner, preferably in a preschool, childcare centre, healthcare, or hospitality environment (advantage but not mandatory).
- Physically fit and able to handle cleaning equipment and tasks.
- Responsible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices (training will be provided).
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a preschool environment with children and staff
