Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Class 4 Delivery Driver to join our delivery operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and securely to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 4 vehicle to transport goods to and from assigned destinations.
- Load and unload cargo safely and securely.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products according to daily schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with customers or clients.
- Assist with warehouse duties when required (e.g., sorting, packing).
- Report delivery issues, delays, or customer feedback promptly to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 4 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience driving Class 4 vehicles in a commercial delivery setting.
- Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Basic reading and math skills for interpreting delivery documents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
