Main duties and responsibilities:
- Loading / Unloading, Transporting and Delivering items to Customers or Business in a safe, secure, and timely manner.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct and the customer is satisfied.
- Assist with loading and unloading items to and from vehicles.
- Accepting payments for delivered items.
- Providing excellent customer service in delivery, handling customs questions and concerns.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
- Utilize appropriate technology to efficiently manage the delivery process including handheld technology.
- Periodic assistance with Stuffing and Un-stuffing activities.
- Periodic assistance to Warehouse Operations from Receiving, Processing (Picking, Packing and Labelling), Releasing and Stocktaking
- Assist in maintaining upkeep and cleanliness of stores and vehicles.
