Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, surveyors, adjusters, investigators, lawyers, third-party claimants, and related parties, including sister companies.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to assistants in their roles.
- Handle and process claims promptly, fairly, and professionally, in line with service benchmarks and established protocols.
- Ensure reserves are set and updated accurately, realistically, and in a timely manner.
- Support underwriters by highlighting issues identified during claims handling, such as policy wording gaps or areas for risk improvement.
- Attend client meetings, MOM sessions, and site inspections as required.
- Conduct periodic reviews of claims files to ensure quality and compliance.
- Actively pursue and follow up on recovery claims to maximize outcomes.
- Carry out other duties or assignments as instructed by the superior.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Insurance or a related discipline.
- Preferably holds DGI, HI, CGI qualifications or an equivalent insurance certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in handling Travel Claims.
- Strong understanding of insurance principles and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work effectively in a team, and demonstrate conscientiousness, tact, customer focus, and a willingness to learn new skill
