Responsibilities:
- Assist the PD/PM in overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation, and monitoring work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work program.
- Review drawing, plans and change orders to verify the structural integrity of materials and designs, perform complex calculations and use modelling methods to ensure correct results.
- Participate in the initial planning and bidding processes, including reviewing environmental factors, government regulations, constructions costs and risk analysis reports to prepare a comprehensive study on all relevant design factors.
- Ensure progress in accordance with the schedule, quality standards are maintained, site inspections are carried out and technical/drawing issues are resolved on time.
- Liaise with consultants/authorities on drawing and technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors.
- Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to site works.
- Ensure site safety and prepare safe work procedures with safety personnel.
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Construction Management, Civil and/or Structural Engineering, building discipline or equivalent
