Job Summary
Lead structural engineering projects by performing detailed analysis and design, managing project teams, and collaborating with clients and contractors to deliver compliant and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design to develop safe and efficient engineering solutions for project requirements
- Prepare detailed calculation reports for submission to authorities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Supervise and review design calculations and drawings prepared by design engineers and draftsmen to maintain quality and accuracy
- Lead project teams to coordinate tasks, manage timelines, and drive successful project delivery
- Liaise proactively with clients, contractors, and authorities to resolve technical issues and facilitate smooth project execution
- Attend meetings with clients, architects, and contractors to align project objectives and provide technical expertise
- Conduct site inspections to verify design implementation and address on-site engineering concerns
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related consultancy firm is preferred for this position.
- Good engineering knowledge and competency in using structural analysis software such as S frame, Plaxis, Tedds, BIM software -Revit Structure.
- Familiar with Eurocode and authorities submission requirements.
- Self motivated and possess positive work attitude
