Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Civil & Structural Engineer to support site construction activities and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be involved in site coordination, supervision, and technical support to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Site Coordination & Supervision

• Coordinate site activities with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Supervise daily construction works and monitor progress against project timelines.
• Plan and schedule site activities to meet project milestones.

Technical & Quality Control

• Provide technical guidance to site personnel and subcontractors.
• Ensure all works and materials comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Support inspections and ensure compliance with approved building and structural plans.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

• Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Track project performance and highlight delays or issues for resolution.
• Assist in verifying subcontractor work and claims.

Safety & Compliance

• Support enforcement of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations on site.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore building codes and environmental standards.
• Work closely with safety personnel to maintain a safe work environment.

Contract & Claims Support

• Assist in preparation of progress claims and verification of subcontractor claims.
• Maintain proper documentation related to site works and project progress.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience

• Preferably 1-3 years of relevant experience in construction or site engineering.
• Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates with relevant training may be considered.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of construction processes and site operations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Certifications (Advantageous)

• BCSS or other relevant construction safety certifications.
