Job Summary
Perform civil and structural engineering design and analysis to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant building solutions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to manage projects from planning through implementation, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform civil and structural engineering design to develop safe and effective structural solutions
- Analyze structural components using engineering software to validate design integrity and compliance
- Collaborate with Professional Engineers to determine optimal materials and construction methods
- Liaise with architects to integrate design requirements and ensure structural safety
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and computer models to support project execution
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities to manage project requirements and approvals
- Manage on-site technical, engineering, and administrative matters to ensure smooth project progress
- Participate in project planning, implementation, and close monitoring to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Execute ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Senior Engineer to support project and team objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering design and project coordination
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in design of buildings, civil, and infrastructure works
- Proficiency in Tekla and civil/structural engineering software applications
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in project site coordination to facilitate on-site engineering activities
- Familiarity with local laws, design codes, and submission requirements to ensure regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of engineering software and MS Office applications to support design and documentation tasks
