About the Role
A1 Main Contractor,A1 Main Contractor, is seeking a Civil & Structural Coordinator to support project delivery by coordinating civil and structural works, monitoring site progress, and ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate civil and structural works on-site, ensuring smooth execution according to design and schedule.
- Liaise between project management, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical or construction issues.
- Monitor progress of structural and civil works, including foundations, piling, reinforced concrete, and superstructure works.
- Conduct site inspections and document observations to ensure compliance with design, codes, and quality standards.
- Assist in reviewing drawings, method statements, and work schedules.
- Maintain records of site activities, progress reports, and relevant documentation for project management.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
- Support Project Manager or Site Manager in planning and coordination of resources, manpower, and equipment.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in civil and structural coordination, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor.
- Familiarity with civil and structural construction methods, materials, and practices.
- Basic understanding of structural drawings, specifications, and construction standards.
