Our client is an established A1 Main Contractor with a strong track record in building, industrial and infrastructure projects in Singapore. Due to continued project growth, they are looking for experienced Civil & Structural Design Engineers to join their project team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Civil & Structural design works for building and industrial projects.
• Review structural designs, drawings, calculations and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements and Singapore standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, M&E consultants, process engineers, QS, subcontractors and project teams.
• Review and coordinate RC, steel, precast, foundation, piling, substructure and superstructure works.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and technical submissions.
• Identify and resolve design, coordination and site-related technical issues.
• Prepare and coordinate tender packages and technical documentation.
• Liaise with consultants and relevant authorities on Civil & Structural submissions and approvals.
• Support Project Managers in ensuring projects are delivered according to programme, quality and technical requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and provide practical engineering solutions during construction.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Civil & Structural design or engineering.
• Experience in building, industrial, commercial or infrastructure projects will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of RC and steel structures, foundations and structural detailing.
• Experience with precast structures, long-span structures or industrial buildings will be advantageous.
• Familiar with Singapore codes, standards and authority submission requirements.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong technical, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Location: East / South
• Working days: 5 Days
• Salary : up to S$7,500 / Negotiable + VB (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
