We are looking for a Civil Site Engineer who is familiar with Singapore construction practices and can actively support the project team in executing and supervising civil and structural works.
The role involves hands-on coordination, documentation, and planning work to ensure quality, safety, and timely progress of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate site construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
Plan and monitor daily and weekly site progress in line with the project programme / Gantt chart.
Assist in the preparation and review of Method Statements (MOS), Risk Assessments (RA), and Work Procedures.
Ensure proper sequence of work is followed in accordance with Singapore standards and project specifications.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site technical issues and ensure smooth work coordination.
Prepare daily site reports, inspection checklists, and documentation required for project submission.
Support the Project Engineer and Site Manager in quality control, safety, and work planning.
Participate in coordination and safety meetings when required.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of relevant site experience in building or civil/infrastructure projects (preferably in Singapore).
Good understanding of Singapore construction sequence of works (e.g., earthworks, foundation, structural, architectural, and finishing stages).
Familiar with preparation of Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Knowledge in preparing and reading Gantt charts / construction schedules.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and AutoCAD.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to work independently or as part of a site team.
Added Advantage
Experience in LTA / PUB / BCA projects or government infrastructure works.
Familiarity with LTA Civil & Structural Specifications and M&W Specifications.
