Act as Qualified Person (QP) for the assigned civil engineering projects e.g. Sewerage, Drainage, Water Pipelines from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines
Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions for projects
Conduct and review geotechnical site investigations, risk assessments, structural calculations and feasibility studies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project designs and resolve technical challenges
Provide expert guidance on civil works construction methodologies
Manage project budgets, resources, and stakeholder relationships
Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements
Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering works e.g. sewerage, pipelines, drainages
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
Strong project management skills, including risk assessment and mitigation
Proven track record in budget management and resource allocation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
