Job Description & Requirements
Roles & Responsibilities.
- A Degree in Engineering (Civil and/or Structural).
- Report to the Construction Manager, and assist in managing, planning and coordinating civil and structural works to meet the time, cost and quality objectives.
- To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings.
- To supervise all Civil, Structural and Geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary.
- To review Contractor's design and submission and supervise all works associated with Civil and Structural works.
- To conduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures whenever necessary.
- To ensure proper coordination among Contractor, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc. for the works.
- To review formwork structure, formwork support systems prior to concreting works and ensure the formworks erected are PE endorsed with Certificate of Supervision (COS) issued.
- To upkeep safety, environmental and health matters while working at a construction site
- To supervise the installation/decommissioning of instrumentation.
- To review the monitoring data and ensure the Civil and Structural works do not have huge impact on surrounding structures.
- To ensure daily register of Request for Information (RIN) for the works and proper documentation are in-placed during the entire construction/reinstatement phase.
- To participate in routine audits by the Authority/Developer, join in all joint inspections and safety site walks.
- To prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by the Authority/Developer.
Requirements:
- Qualified candidates please submit in your updated resume in MS Word format with your latest RTO cert attached.
- Diploma or Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
- At least 4 years of experience, of which 2years experience in MRT Rail or Road works that includes supervision of temporary and permanent works.
- Possess a valid RE/RTO cert 2025 by JAC of IES/ACES.
- Possess BCSS and/or confined space certificate and/or working at height certificate.
- Candidate to be able to work shift works due to the demands of the project
- Willing to work 56hrs work week
- Salary range quoted is all in. i.e. inclusive of leave and MC benefits and gratuity/13month
