Key Job Scope and Responsibilities:
- Site Management & Supervision: Supervises construction projects from start to finish, including civil, structural, and architectural works. Directs daily operations, manages onsite crews, and coordinates subcontractors.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforces all safety regulations on site (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH). Ensures compliance with building codes and standards.
- Quality Control & Inspection: Inspects materials delivered on-site to ensure they meet specifications. Monitors construction activities to ensure high work efficiency, quality, and workmanship.
- Planning & Scheduling: Develops and manages project schedules, ensuring work activities meet the required completion dates.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinates materials, labor, and equipment to prevent shortages and work stoppages.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintains records of site costs, daily progress reports, timesheets, and invoices.

Requirements & Skills:
- Education/Experience: A degree or diploma in a related engineering discipline is often required, or extensive experience as a foreman or in technical roles.
- Certification: Safety certifications such as Building Construction Supervisor Safety (BCSS) or Site Construction Work for Workplace Safety and Health (SCWSH) are typically mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
