Job Description
- Develop and design infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, drainage systems, and utilities.
- Conduct site assessments, including soil testing and environmental impact analysis, to determine project feasibility.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant local regulations, building codes, and sustainability standards.
- Oversee the construction process from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage resources, teams, and contractors while coordinating with various stakeholders such as architects, urban planners, and government agencies.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Implement workplace safety standards in line with local regulations (Workplace Safety and Health Act) and ensure safe working conditions.
- Liaise with government authorities (e.g., BCA, PUB, URA), contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide regular updates to clients, management, and regulatory bodies about project progress, risks, and any changes.
