Overall responsible for the civil construction of the power plant station
Plan and prepare station requirements (subcontractors, suppliers, materials, equipment) based on the baseline program and work with The technical/contracts department to finalize and submit for approval
Achieve progress in accordance with programs and within budget
Control the usage and minimize wastage of major building materials such as rebar, concrete, formwork materials, among other materials
Carry out daily team meetings and site walks with project staff and produce tasks and action plan notes
Invoke sequenced handover of works and track actual progress vs planned
Prepare a progress report for the manager to review
Liaise with the site team/ subcontractors on the scheduling and execution of all structural/ architectural/ M&E works
Liaise with the Design team on engineering technical issues
Manage traffic / underground services diversion and temporary works
Requisition of required manpower, subcontractors, and suppliers
Liaise with Quality and EHS departments to implement on-site
Control subcontractors and suppliers for the timely closure of issues relating to quality and safety
Plan and prepare MSRA/Documents for the necessary permit based on baseline program, including government and owner (company) permits, and work with the technical/contracts department to finalize and submit for approval
Requirements :
Must possess min 8 years of engineering experience with a degree in Civil Engineering is recognized by the PE Board or a qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer OR recognized degree in the relevant field, subject to the acceptance of the Engineer, and at least 5 years of experience in managing civil and infrastructure construction work for projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature of work
Must possess all the training certificates required for a civil engineer
Familiar with local engineering/construction laws and regulations in Singapore
Familiar with engineering Permit, License, Approval, etc. in Singapore is a plus
Have more than two project construction experience, EPC project management
Experience is preferred
Able to start work on short notice will be anadvantage
