Civil Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

. Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work

. Prepare Bill of Quantities, work schedule for execution

. Prepare drawings and reports for communication with relevant stakeholders

. Conduct site supervision to ensure works are carried out in accordance to design codes and specifications

. Ensure quality control of works and manage defects and rectification works

. Ensure works are carried out in compliance with safety requirements and related Singapore statutory regulations

. Check on works carry out by subcontractors, workers and suppliers

. Liaise with sub-contractors on technical issues

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Civil Engineering

- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as site engineer for building construction and upgrading projects

- Experience in A&A projects, renovation work for residential, industrial and commercial projects

- Strong knowledge of construction rules and regulations

- Familiar with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards

- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

- Proficient in using microsoft softwares and relevant design drafting tools
