Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize construction project outcomes and align with company goals
- Monitor and verify progress of paper documentation and on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are met
- Conduct project safety briefings to enforce compliance with safety standards and promote a secure work environment
- Manage materials ordering and usage to control costs and minimize waste throughout construction phases
- Supervise construction teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and timely completion of tasks
- Drive improvements in work quantity and quality to enhance overall company performance and client satisfaction
- Ensure all structures are constructed safely and with maximum structural integrity according to engineering specifications
- Report project status, challenges, and achievements regularly to the Director and Project Manager
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate project progress
- Perform miscellaneous duties and ad hoc tasks as required to support project and organizational needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil & Structural Engineering
- Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience in the construction industry
