CIVIL ENGINEER (BUILDING CONSTRUCTION)

Job Description & Requirements

. Assist the project managers/Planning & Engineering Department in all aspects of project management related works.

. Understudy and understand the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work program.

. Liaise with material suppliers for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with main contractors.

. Handling of technical and engineering problems.

. Prepare reports and method statements following requirements by main contractors and project owners.

. Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safe.

. Supervise ongoing site activities closely.

Requirement

. Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or construction related major

. Able to work at site

. Good written and spoken communication skills

. Competent with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)

. Proficient in AUTOCAD

. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision

. Strong initiative and resourcefulness
