Key Responsibilities
Coordinate civil design works with construction teams, consultants, client representatives and subcontractors
Prepare and review shop drawings for temporary and permanent works
Coordinate design submissions and ensure drawings are completed accurately and on time
Review design calculations and prepare engineering calculations where required
Work closely with site teams to resolve design and construction issues
Support temporary works design and ensure solutions are safe, practical and cost-effective
Identify opportunities to improve constructability and optimise engineering solutions
Monitor design progress and highlight potential issues or delays to the Design Manager
Coordinate with QP(D), PE and relevant stakeholders for design approvals and endorsements
Provide technical support on ad hoc design matters throughout the project
Role Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board Singapore
At least 5 years of relevant local experience in the construction industry
Experience in underground construction, infrastructure or civil engineering projects is preferred
Good knowledge of Singapore construction standards and safety requirements
Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit and STAAD Pro
Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills
Able to work closely with both design and site teams
