Job Summary

Plan, organize, and lead construction projects by managing teams, schedules, budgets, and compliance to ensure timely delivery of quality outcomes within regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure efficient construction project execution
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements
  • Lead and coordinate project teams including architects, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals on time and within budget
  • Monitor project progress continuously and implement adjustments to maintain schedule and budget adherence
  • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans and technical specifications
  • Design and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high construction standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to resolve issues and optimize performance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records
  • Review and approve project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders and senior management
  • Lead project meetings to facilitate effective communication and decision-making among team members
  • Assist in developing cost estimates and managing project financials including subcontractor billings and pay applications
  • Support site safety documentation and coordination to uphold safety standards
  • Assist project managers with assigned tasks to ensure smooth project operations

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction project management
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
  • Experience managing and supervising construction teams
