Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise site construction activities to ensure timely project completion, compliance with specifications, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Lead collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and site personnel to drive project quality and budget goals.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate work with clients and subcontractors to achieve on-time project completion
- Lead and participate in site project meetings to communicate progress and resolve issues
- Produce daily work progress reports to track project status and inform stakeholders
- Plan, schedule, and supervise the execution of site works to meet project timelines
- Provide technical advice and supervise site personnel to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements
- Assist safety personnel by monitoring site activities to ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations
- Oversee daily construction activities to meet project progress and quality objectives
- Supervise subcontractors and direct manpower to complete projects within budget and timeframe
- Verify that work and materials used in construction meet required specifications
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Government regulations related to safety, building plans, structural plans, and environmental standards
- Prepare progress claims and subcontractor claim verifications accurately and timely
- Lead or assist in RE/RTO inspections to ensure project compliance and quality
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
- Architectural knowledge to support project execution (advantageous)
- At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry
- Junior Executive specialization in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent (preferred)
- BCSS and other relevant certifications (strong advantage)
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
