Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise site construction activities to ensure timely project completion, compliance with specifications and regulations, and quality standards. Provide technical guidance and manage subcontractors to achieve project goals within budget and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate work with clients and subcontractors to ensure on-time project completion and alignment with project goals
- Attend site project meetings and produce daily progress reports to monitor and communicate work status effectively
- Plan, schedule, and supervise execution of site works to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Provide technical advice and supervise site personnel to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements
- Assist safety personnel in enforcing adherence to all relevant safety regulations on site to maintain a safe working environment
- Oversee daily construction activities to achieve project progress milestones and quality objectives
- Supervise subcontractors and direct manpower deployment to complete projects within budget and scheduled timeframe
- Verify that construction work and materials meet required specifications to ensure quality and durability
- Ensure compliance with Singapore government regulations on safety, building plans, structural plans, and environmental standards
- Prepare progress claims and subcontractor claim verifications accurately and in a timely manner to support project financial management
- Lead or assist in RE/RTO inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and project approval
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
- Architectural knowledge to support project execution and coordination
- At least 1 year of experience in the construction industry to understand site operations and challenges
- Junior Executive specialization in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
- BCSS and other relevant certifications are advantageous
