Seashell Academy, part of Xinghai Education Group, is a rapidly growing tuition centre in Singapore specialising in Mathematics, Science, and Chinese for primary school students preparing for the PSLE.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated Chinese Teachers to join our academic team at Eastpoint Mall.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Chinese language classes for Primary 1-6 students, with emphasis on PSLE preparation.
• Deliver lessons aligned with the MOE Chinese syllabus and Seashell Academy's curriculum.
• Guide students in reading comprehension, composition, oral communication, and exam techniques.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
• Communicate with parents regarding student performance and learning needs.
• Create an engaging, interactive, and motivating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Chinese Studies, Education, or a related discipline (MOE-recognised qualifications preferred).
• At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience at the primary level, ideally with PSLE classes.
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore MOE Chinese syllabus and PSLE exam requirements.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about teaching, patient with students, and committed to improving learning outcomes.
• Bilingual ability (Chinese + English) preferred for communication with parents.
