Chinese Language Teacher (Part Time)

Company Description

Unravel Learning Studio® is an MOE-registered Chinese tuition centre specialising in small-group instruction, with a maximum of six students per class. We adopt a structured, student-centred approach to strengthen students Chinese language proficiency and academic confidence.

We are seeking qualified part-time Chinese Language teachers for on-site teaching on weekdays and/or weekends, with potential opportunities for permanent full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Chinese Language and/or Higher Chinese Language lessons using Unravel's curriculum framework, teaching resources and pedagogical approaches.
• Facilitate interactive, small-group lessons tailored to students learning needs and proficiency levels.
• Mark assignments and assessments, monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a supportive learning environment that encourages active participation and independent thinking.
• Communicate students progress to parents and collaborate with the teaching team when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree with a major or specialisation in Chinese Language, Chinese Studies, Chinese Literature or Chinese Education, relevant to the subjects and levels to be taught.
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese, with good communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills.
• Prior teaching or group tutoring experience will be an advantage, particularly at Primary and/or Secondary levels.
• Familiarity with the local Chinese Language curriculum and assessment requirements would be a plus.
