Chinese Language Teacher

Moyuan Culture Education is looking for a dedicated Chinese Language Teacher to join our Chinese Language department in Singapore. This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to foster a deep appreciation for the Chinese language and culture among our students.

As a Chinese Language Teacher, you will develop engaging lesson plans, conduct classes, and assess student progress. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students, encouraging them to achieve language proficiency while embracing cultural nuances.

We offer a competitive salary range of SGD 2,800 - SGD 4,500 monthly, along with professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans for various proficiency levels
• Conduct engaging classroom activities that promote language acquisition
• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
• Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience
• Encourage cultural awareness and appreciation among students
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and teaching practices
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to school activities
• Stay updated on advancements in language teaching methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Chinese as a second language
• Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written
• Candidate with English proficiency is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
• Experience with various teaching methodologies
• Passion for fostering student growth and cultural understanding
• Strong organisational and time management skills

任职要求

• 教育学、语言学或相关领域学士学位
• 至少 2 年对外汉语教学经验
• 精通普通话,听说读写能力强
• 出色的沟通与人际交往能力
• 具备制定引人入胜且高效教学计划的能力
• 熟悉多种教学方法论
• 对促进学生成长和跨文化理解充满热情
• 具备强大的组织能力和时间管理能力
• 具备英语能力者优先
