The Opportunity
Are you passionate about bringing the Mandarin language and its rich culture to life for young children We are looking for more than just a language teacher we are seeking a Language & Storytelling Guide who can create an immersive, joyful, and meaningful Mandarin environment for our preschoolers.
As a key member of our teaching team, you will be a Nurturing Innovator, responsible for designing and delivering a vibrant Chinese language program that aligns with our unique play-inspired approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a dynamic, age-appropriate, and play-inspired Mandarin curriculum for our preschool children (18 months to 6 years old).
- Foster a love for the Chinese language through actively-engaging activities such as storytelling, music, drama, and hands-on projects.
- Create a joyful and supportive classroom environment where children feel safe to explore and express themselves in Mandarin.
- Collaborate with our English-speaking teachers in a socially-interactive team to create a holistic, bilingual learning experience.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with our parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress through our Qoqolo app and parent-teacher meetings.
- Assess and document each child's development, contributing to their individual learning journey.
Who We're Looking For:
- Qualified: You must possess a valid ECDA L2 certification in Early Childhood Care & Education (or equivalent).
- Passionate: You are genuinely excited about education and have a deep love for the Mandarin language and culture.
- Nurturing: You are empathetic, sincere, and create a safe, supportive environment for every child.
