Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare traditional authentic Indian dishes, emphasizing North Indian, Gujarati, and South Indian cuisines, ensuring adherence to authentic cooking methods and quality standards
- Apply knowledge of herbs and spices properties to enhance flavor and authenticity in food preparation
- Supervise and coach junior kitchen staff to maintain operational efficiency and consistent food quality
- Plan and organize ingredient procurement and preparation for upcoming service days to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Interpret and fulfill customer orders accurately, adapting dishes to meet specific requirements
- Innovate and introduce new dishes and menus to enhance customer experience and menu variety
- Monitor and maintain stock levels and inventory to prevent shortages and overstocking
- Implement stock rotation procedures to ensure ingredient freshness and minimize waste
- Control portion sizes and monitor waste to optimize food cost management
- Maintain high food quality standards consistently during all service periods
- Perform effectively under pressure during peak service times
- Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts, including split shifts, to support kitchen needs
