We are looking for a nurturing centre leader for Bright Kids at Jurong West.This position is for individuals who have a passion for curriculum leadership, administrative capabilities, and a growth mindset to contribute to our organisation's continuous improvement. This position reports directly to the Bright Kids's Director.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic and operational plans of the school
- Lead the strategic and operational development of the school
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and accreditation standards
- Lead teachers and other support staff in the center to provide quality early childhood education.
- Mentor teachers and encourage them to join our various initiatives to grow professionally and progress
- Carry out our induction program, mentoring program, skills assessment, career development map, performance appraisals with excellence
- Customise teaching and learning approaches aligned to our curriculum framework
- Customise strategies to observe and document children's learning
- Engage children meaningfully through the co-design of curriculum and appropriate pedagogy
- Evaluate differentiated teaching and learning strategies to meet the diverse needs of children
- Lead in integrating the core values of Early Childhood Education within curricula and centre programmes
- Design quality learning environments
- Model trusting, respectful relationships with children through positive interactions with them
- Advocate appropriate course of action for the protection of children
- Advocate a safe and healthy environment within the centre
- Develop strategies to establish partnerships and collaborations with families and community stakeholders
- Lead in implementing collaborative efforts amongst families and community stakeholders
- Contribute to fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Display critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Foster a culture of collaboration
- Facilitate effective work teams
- Facilitate effective communication and engagement at the workplace
- Collaborate with the Senior Management, other Centre Leaders, and centres Teachers (where applicable), and other HQ Staff to work on projects, align short-term and long-term goals aligned to the Vision, Mission and Values of the Centre.
Job Requirements
- Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL) is mandatory.
- At least a Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- At least 4+ years experience in preschool leadership or teaching supervision.
- Passionate about early childhood education an committed to nurturing children and developing teachers.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills able to resolve staff, parent, and operationalmatters professionally.
- Comfortable with digital tools and preschool management systems, and open to adopting new technologies.
- Ability to manage centre operations, curriculum planning, and staff development effectively.
