We are revolutionising a mobile app ordering platform with a supporting website and vendor dashboard.
Role Overview
As CTO, you will take charge of the entire technology operation end to end, including architecture, security, infrastructure, delivery, hiring, and vendor management, while staying hands on when needed. You will build the core developer infrastructure, lead a small team, and ship reliable features under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the technical vision, architecture, and standards across mobile, web, and backend
- Build and maintain developer infrastructure including CI/CD, environments, observability, security, and cost controls
- Lead and mentor engineers, run sprint planning, code reviews, and release management
- Drive delivery of core features including ordering, payments, dashboards, notifications, and authentication
- Own cloud operations including reliability, performance, uptime, backups, and disaster recovery
- Establish security and compliance practices including PII protection, secrets, access control, and audits
- Manage the technical roadmap, hiring, and third party vendors or partners
- Collaborate with the founding team on product priorities and trade offs
- Be hands on to unblock the team including spikes, refactors, and hotfixes
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with recent leadership as lead, manager, or architect
- Proven track record building developer infrastructure and workflows including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring
- Hands on in at least two of the following: Flutter or React Native, React or Next.js, Node.js with Express or NestJS, Python with FastAPI, PostgreSQL or Firebase
- Cloud operations on AWS or GCP, Docker or containers, environment management
- Strong communication, product sense, and ability to deliver under time pressure
- Based in Singapore
Nice to Have
- Experience with payments, multi tenant dashboards, or high traffic consumer apps
- Background in security hardening, incident response, and cost optimization
- Experience in hiring, interview design, and vendor management
