Chief Operating Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all operational aspects across multiple departments and training verticals

• Develop and launch new high-value courses and certification programs

• Manage large training portfolios including WSQ framework and SkillsFuture/SSG funded programs

• Oversee trainer recruitment, development, and performance management

• Maintain and expand institutional accreditations (MOM, WSH Council, SSG, NEA, IRCA, NEBOSH, SCDF, NRC)

• Ensure SSG audit compliance and quality assurance across all training delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university (Engineering or related field preferred)

• Master's degree is an advantage

• Minimum 8-10 years in the education/training industry in operational leadership roles

• Must have held COO, Director of Operations, VP Operations, or equivalent

• Experience in private sector training/education organizations with commercial operations

• Proven track record managing large-scale operations (50+ employees or $10M+ revenue)

• Strong operational knowledge across course development, training delivery, quality assurance, trainer management, and accreditations
